[He holds him tightly, not wanting to let him go and kisses at the top of his head, leaning back a hint to press his lips hard against Ash’s] I’m not going anywhere, y’hear me? Anywhere. Well, not without you. [He kisses him again, softer this time] I love you so much, Ashburn Capulet… And I will make you my husband… Forever. Okay?
-He’s crying quietly now, the tears dripping off his face as he kisses Prodigy back slightly. After the second kiss, he nods a little and looks up at him- I love you, Prod. I love you, I love you, I love you. I’m sorry I’m crying and I’m upset now, but… but Mithra’s… gone. I don’t know what to do because Laz is upset and so is Liam and Coven and other people and I’m sad but I’m not that sad and does that make me a terrible person?
[He gently brushes the tears away from Ash’s cheeks, smiling softly down at him and pressing another kiss to his lips] As I love you, Ash. I love you, I love you, I love you. [He nods his head, arms winding around his fiancé once more and keeping him close] No… It doesn’t make you a terrible person. [He brushes hair lightly from Ash’s face] Just means that you’re human… I’d be worried if you were deathly sad at every single person that died… Sweetie, I’ve told you before… You’re perfectly fine just the way you are.
